Come join us on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Southwind Park in Springfield for our annual fishing event for children with disabilities!

As a participant your day will begin at 9 AM when you and your chaperone arrive at the Hope Institute Pavilion for check in.  After check in you will join your fishing buddy at Roland Lake where you will be outfitted with a fishing pole and bait.  You, your chaperone, and your fishing buddy will enjoy fishing from the wheel chair accessible fishing piers or fishing sites around the shore. Fishing will wrap up at 11:30 when awards will be presented to each participant.  Be sure to register in advance, space is limited to the first 40 registered participants.  The registration fee is $10.
